Measures Propylene Glycol, Ethylene Glycol, Battery Acid, and Cleaner for the freezing point of automotive coolants in their current concentration as well as battery charge. As small, light and simple to use as optical refractometers, but with a digital readout to eliminate uncertainties. The unit of measure is shown on LCD.  Provides instantaneous readings requiring only a 0.4mL sample.  The sophisticated microprocessor provides automatic calibration, low power consumption resulting in 2000 readings rather than 500 for competitive units, automatic shutoff after 3 minutes, and a low battery indicator. Uses CCD scanner (linear scanned array imaging) for greater full scale accuracy of 0.1% vs. 0.5% for competitive units using less advanced technology.  Water resistant design protects the electronics from wet environments and makes for easy clean ups. Perfect for use in the food and beverage industry. Comes ready to use with a 9V battery, instructions and a carrying case. Features automatic temperature compensation and  temperature display in addition to their other parameters.
