Works both as a thermometer using all type-K
thermocouple probes and as a calibrator for any other Type-K thermometer. Measures and
calibrates over a wide range of -199°/1230ºC with resolution and an accuracy of
1ºC or F full scale. Comes complete with carrying case, 9V battery, and a calibration
cable with type-K plugs on both ends. Simply plug one end of the calibration cable into
the calibrator and the other in place of the probe on the thermometer you wish to
calibrate. Dial in the temperature and the calibrator sends an equivalent electronic
signal to the thermometer. Simply compare the reading on your thermometer’s display
to the actual temperature being electronically simulated by the calibrator. Also features
RS232 output, hold function and a fold-out easel back. Dim: 7 1/3" x 3 x 1 ½"
