Using new long life, high intensity, red, LED arrays these stroboscopes achieve bright illumination with no AC power cord.  Unlike conventional stroboscopes these compact, heavy duty units, can be used outdoors or in other locations where AC power is not available.  Easy to use, non-contact measurement of speed in motors, gears, fans, centrifuges, pumps, and other machinery.  Results are displayed on a bright 5-digit backlit LCD that is easy to read in both light and dark environments. These technologically advanced stroboscopes feature microprocessor circuits with a crystal time base to insure high accuracy and eliminate the need for calibration.  Has a tripod screw.  Four D batteries (included) provide approximately 40 hours of continuous use.  Model DT-2299 also features trigger input, a built in non-contact laser tachometer as well as an optional contact-tachometer probe.
